HostupCloud Commits to Carbon-Neutral Operations by 2027
HostupCloud announces a formal commitment to achieve carbon-neutral operations across all datacenters and offices by 2027, driven by renewable energy adoption and efficiency initiatives.
HostupCloud today announced a formal commitment to achieve carbon-neutral operations across its entire global infrastructure by 2027.
The initiative includes transitioning all owned and colocation facilities to renewable energy sources, optimising PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) ratios across all sites, and partnering with verified carbon offset programmes for residual emissions.
"Sustainability isn't just a trend — it's our responsibility," said HostupCloud leadership. "As a cloud provider, we consume significant energy. We owe it to our customers, our communities, and the planet to do this right."
Key milestones in the roadmap include 50% renewable energy by end of 2024, full renewable coverage at the Bangalore datacenter by 2025, and net-zero scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2027.
HostupCloud will publish annual sustainability reports beginning in 2024, providing transparent progress updates against these targets.
